Martin Luther King Quotes

Every time you log on there will be a new Martin Luther King Jr quote.  Every once and a while I will want you to comment on one of his quotes.  This time I want you to pick one for youself. Start your comment off with the quotes that you have read. Tell me what you think the comment means and why you think it applies to your life.  Remember every time you refresh the page you will get a different quote.  If none of the quotes really inspires you than find another quote from some other historical person right it down and post it to this comment section. You will need to tell me who the historical person is to get credit.

What can you find out about the books

Do some research and find out what you can about the books we will be reading in this class.  You can look on you tube, review spark notes, find character anaylysis, webpage discussions or ask someone who has read the book.  Find what every you can and write a comment about what you think the book will be about and if you think you will like it.  Finally how do you think it will fit into our class discussion about social skills.  I need two comments a paragraph each about the two books

Purpose Driven

What does this video have to do with our class?  Does this change anything about what you think about your own motivation?  With this concept in mind how would you change our school to make kids more motivated?

Blogging

What is blogging?  Do any of you have a blog of your own?  Have any of you ever commented on a blog?  In this class we are going to comment on this blog almost every day.  Each week you have to comment  about the issues, concerns, and ideas that are brought up in class.  Your first blog comment will be to answer the first three questions.  For the first one tell me what the word blog means.  Then tell what has been your experience with blogs. Finally tell me what do you think you are going to learn in this class. Each Friday we will dicuss what you wrote for the week.
